FAQ
This typically depends on how often you use your RV. If you’re a full-time RV enthusiast, you’re going to want to have certain systems, including your air conditioning and furnace looked at and cleaned at least once a year. You should also have your brakes checked and bearings repacked once a year, or every 10,000 miles – whichever comes first. If you’re living in your RV at a park full-time, just make sure you get your brakes and bearings checked and serviced before you set out on the road again. Bearing grease will break down over time, and brake parts will rust-up, so it’s best to be proactive.
There are other items to check routinely, including your RV’s roof and exterior wall sealants, overall roof condition, jack systems, and any other systems that you frequently use. These need to be checked or operated and lubricated every six months or so in order to ensure that they’re functional and keeping the elements out – water is an RV’s WORST enemy!
We service Fifth Wheel, Bumper Pull travel trailer, Work-and-Play trailers, Horse trailers with living quarters, Class C, Super C, Class B and Class A. We may not cover every system you have – some motorhomes are more complex than a 747 – but we can repair most of it! We’ll be upfront and honest with you about which parts and systems we’ll be able to work on before we begin. We’re not going to waste your time or take any chance of damaging your RV or our reputation by taking on a project that we can’t handle. Give our RV technicians a call at P: (800) 881-3262 and we’ll be happy to discuss your RV service and repair needs.
For the most part, all manufacturers build their RVs in a similar way, which makes RV service and repair fairly straightforward for any model.
The primary factors affecting turnaround time are:
- How extensive are the required repairs?
- Parts availability. Do we have the parts in stock? Ordered parts may take 1 or more days depending on the part. Overnight deliveries are not uncommon.
- Work scheduling varies with current work load and part availability.
We cover most house systems on your motorhome but do not offer repair services on the following systems: engine or chassis.
We accept cash or credit card.
Feasibility of a collision repair job will be determined on a case by case basis.
Yes, we do! We’ll work with your insurance or extended warranty provider to get your RV or motorhome back up and running. Please make sure when dealing with insurance or extended warranty companies that you have the proper coverage. Once your RV service or repair begins, you will be liable for all costs not covered, so please double-check with the relevant parties beforehand.
